Sleepy Salves
We tried it last night with little miss 3 year old. She really enjoyed the smell and fell asleep in no time and did not wake up until morning (which is rare for her). Definitely a good addition to our sleep routine. ?
If you know me or have worked with me, you know that I don’t believe in many magic tricks to help kids sleep ‘better’ or longer. I believe in responsive parenting when it comes to sleep. Being present, and both physically and emotionally available to help our little ones into slumber is what ends up creating the best and most secure sleepers around! BUT, that doesn’t mean we can’t use tools to help it all go much more smoothly.
I have been perfecting this Sleepy Rub for years on my own family and with friends their families.
The base ingredients are carefully selected and blended for perfect rubbing ease; USDA Organic
Triple Filtered Beeswax, USDA Organic Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, and USDA Non-GMO Verified ECOCERT Organic Olive Oil. The essential oil blend is extremely safe for the age group intended and incredibly effective at creating a calm sleepy environment.
I began using Julia’s Sleepy Rub a few months ago with my 6 and 4 yr. old. I apply it to their feet and chest prior to tucking them in. The wonderful scent and gentle massage during application soothes their restless bodies and calms them down. It has become an essential part of bedtime in our household. A truly wonderful product!
